Covid-19 Safety Measures
As of May 16, 2020, sportfishing from boats, shore, provincial and municipal beaches was reintroduced in Nova Scotia as part of the provinces response to Covid-19. Stripers of the Strait is taking the below recommended precautions to ensure our guests and community remain safe.
All equipment will be disinfected after their last use and immediately prior to your excursion.
Hand sanitizer will be provided for clients and used throughout your excursion when equipment changes hands.
Stripers of the Strait will practice the recommended six foot social distancing guideline.
While, snacks, sun protection and bug repellant are usually supplied, we ask that you bring your own at this time.
Rather than transportation being provided from a centre location, guests will be asked to follow in their own vehicle.
These precautions will be revised as recommendations from the Nova Scotia Government are updated. For more information on Nova Scotia's current Covid-19 restrictions and recommendations, please visit https://novascotia.ca/coronavirus.
Two things I love and have decades of experience with are sport fishing and instructing. While Covid-19 has delayed my ability to complete the Nova Scotia Guide Sport Fishing course, I still look forward to bringing my passion for fishing and instructing to Stripers of the Strait this summer.
